I've been somewhat absent from DA of late. For those that haven't had thanks or messages from me, I apologise. Work has been a little busy at the moment.

To get my mind back on the creative track I started playing around in Blender the other night and came up with this image.

I've been interested in working towards more realism using hand-made textures (as opposed to photographic textures) recently and this became an experiment in that direction. To be honest when I started I had no idea where I'd go with that session.

To kind of help any Blender fans out there I've also put together a WIP screenshot that shows the textures that I created and a brief summary of the creation of the textures.
