100 Themes

Journal Entry: Mon Apr 7, 2008, 2:24 AM
Against my better judgement I've decided to kick-start my creativity by joining the 100 themes challenge. Granted I did an image yesterday but I want to produce stuff more regularly.

Apparently I have to pick a theme from the list below and draw/paint/whatever an image for it until I've done 100 piccies. No problem..... *eek*

I'll be updating this journal entry as I complete each theme (replacing the theme with a link to the completed deviation).

I can't remember where I copied the list from so thank you whoever you are. :D

You are welcome - I liked the control of tone and wash concentration for the aerial perspective. A really atmospheric piece.

Well, you can't tell (or at least I didn't notice). The rendering work on your biro work is gorgeous - really fine control on the hatching. :D

thanks ever so much for the favs and for the comments.

i have to agree about what you said regarding ink sketches and the fact that you can't erase any mistakes but incorporate them somehow... therein lies the challenge. on pestilence alone i originally planned it out wrong and when i was drawing the head with biro it worked out 2/3 the size it should've been so i had to add to it and add to it to hide the mistake and get it to the correct size...... fun fun fun eh!

thanks again and i'm looking forward to seeing more of your work.

Don`t mind me .. Just here to admire & comment on members work. My drawing qualities are poor so don`t expect anything from me in this category lol. One thing I do know though , I appreciate good work and I know what I like.
